Our Journey
On 1st May 2018, the doors opened for LMR Building Supplies on the outskirts of Hanslope village. Based in a farmyard and with a single pickup van, a forklift truck and a Portakabin for an office, our team back then was simply Paul, Chris and Sam.
Only three weeks later, we purchased our first lorry, affectionally known as "Cyril", and our first employee joined us in August of that year.
In early 2019 and now a team of six, it was clear we had outgrown our first home and needed to find somewhere bigger.
August 2019 saw us relocate to our current premises - a 1.5 acre site in Finedon with warehousing and a much bigger outdoor space, allowing us to significantly increase the number of product lines on offer.
By our second birthday in May 2020, our team had expanded to 13 people and grew even further as the year came to a close - no mean feat whilst the country was in the midst of the Coronavirus pandemic.
We turned three years old in May 2021 and with our customer base growing by the day, we continued to develop our product and service offerings, and forged partnerships with a number of new suppliers.
2022 was another exciting year for LMR as we became members of NMBS & NBG. This was a huge milestone for the business as we continue to increase our product offering for our customers and further improve supplier relationships.
We're now a team of 16, with a fleet of five lorries and the same trusty pickup van that we started with back in 2018.

Our Experienced Team
Paul Londors, Chris Matthews and Sam Richards are the founders of LMR Building Supplies. With over 75 years of industry experience between them, Paul, Chris and Sam each have their own specialist area within the business and, together, they form the perfect blend to ensure the smooth running of LMR Building Supplies.
